IMAGES FROM THE R-MWC BOOK OF HOURS
On this page, you will find images from the R-MWC book of hours. To make the images larger, use the large and small links under the images. The large link will take you to an extreme close-up of the image and the small link will take you to an image larger than those found on this page, but large enough to read some of the detail. The small version is printable.

ABOUT THE IMAGES
The book was exposed to the bright lights needed to take the pictures only long enough to take each individual picture. Between taking shots, the book was in a room lit by some natural light and a dim lamp.
The images on this page were taken with a digital camera. They were then downloaded to a computer and cropped and lightened (when necessary) using Adobe Photoshop. They were also resized to make available the small images on this page, also using Photoshop.
These pages are the work of the students enrolled in Art 238, "Art and Medieval Mentalities," taught by Professor Christine Hamza during the Spring Semester, 2003.
The format of this site was last updated: October 2, 2017.
