Information on setting up an account using the Randolph College subscription to NYT

New York Times

Randolph College students, faculty, and staff now have full complimentary access to NYTimes.com thanks to our campus-wide subscription.

We encourage you to take advantage of the world-class journalism of The New York Times to enrich your educational experience.

NYTimes.com covers a variety of topics with unsurpassed quality and depth through breaking news articles, blogs, videos and interactive features. In addition, you will be able to share content on social networks, save articles of interest, subscribe to email newsletters and set up personalized alerts. Your access to NYTimes.com is available from any location, on or off campus, using any browser or the NYT apps.

Historical Content

NYT Online subscriptions provide full access to articles published between 1851-1922 & 1981-present, with limited access to content published between 1923-1980.  Content can be found within the searchable NYT Online Archive.

However, you can browse 150 years' worth of NYT content as it originally appeared using the NYT TimesMachine. Content includes everything published through 2002.

New York Times in Education

Our campus subscription includes access to New York Times in Education, providing content in 16 discipline-specific areas of study, discussion prompts, learning outcomes, Instructional Strategies, and Co-Curricular Activities

The Education site is a separate website and requires its own username/password.  You must register for access using your randolphcollege.edu email address here: nytimesineducation.com/register
