Lipscomb Library houses hundreds of thousands of print books. We also provide access to ebooks through our database subscriptions. Below, learn how to find a book using the library catalog, and see some options for finding ebooks.
The library catalog can be used to search for physical books in the library's holdings. To locate e-books, use the search options below:
Use the library catalog to find books owned by our library. On the library homepage, enter your terms in the search box (pictured below). Search by title, author, or subject keyword.
The results will show items from our library catalog and the library's electronic resources. For items physically located at Lipscomb Library, you'll see whether the item is available for checkout and the call number.
Write down the call number or take a picture of it, and check which floor the number is on:
First Floor: 000-349
Second Floor: 350-819
Third Floor: 820-999
Fourth (Main) Floor: Reference (call numbers start with "R")
This information is also posted next to the elevator on each floor of the library.
